Overview
Tribe Swap (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Tribe Swap mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.
Tribe Swap is an independent fan-made companion game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CBS or Survivor.
Information We Collect
1. Account Information
You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and password. We receive:
- Your email address
- Your name, if the sign-in provider shares it
- A unique account identifier
If you use an email and password, the password is handled by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication). We never see or store it ourselves.
2. Public Profile
- A display name you choose. Other players see it on leaderboards and in leagues.
- An optional profile photo. The App asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to take or pick one, and only the photo you select is uploaded. Profile photos may be visible to other players.
3. Gameplay Data
- Your ranked entries, swaps and finale predictions
- Points, ranks and leaderboard history
- Leagues you create or join, including league names you choose
This information is required for the game to work.
4. Support Messages
If you email us, we receive your message and whatever it contains. Emails sent from the App include your account identifier and app version so we can help you faster.
We do not use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. To protect the service from abuse, our infrastructure provider verifies that requests come from a genuine copy of the App (Firebase App Check, using Apple’s App Attest and DeviceCheck); this does not identify you personally.
How We Use Information
- Create and manage your account
- Run the game: entries, swaps, scoring, leaderboards and leagues
- Show your display name and photo to other players
- Review reports of offensive names or photos and act on them
- Respond to support requests and fix problems
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data Storage and Sharing
Account and gameplay data is stored with Google Firebase, which acts as our service provider. We do not share your information with anyone else, except when required by law.
Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account exists.
You can delete your account at any time in the App: tap your photo in the top-right corner, then Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your profile, display name, photo, entries, swap history and league memberships, and your entry disappears from leaderboards. Leagues you created are removed too.
Copies in our provider’s routine backups expire on the provider’s schedule. Support emails are kept in our inbox until we delete them; ask us and we will.
Your Choices and Rights
- Change your display name or photo in the App at any time
- Delete your account in the App, as described above
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it
- Report a player’s name, photo or league name from your photo in the top-right corner → Contact Support → Report a Player

Children’s Privacy
Tribe Swap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date above.
